Who we are
AssetPilot ("we", "us", "our") provides IT asset management software at assetpilot.co.uk. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why and what rights you have over it.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@assetpilot.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. On this marketing site, that happens through the demo request form and the contact form.
- Name and work email address
- Company name and approximate fleet size (demo requests only)
- The message or question you submit
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability
How we use it
We use the data you submit only to:
- Respond to your demo request or enquiry
- Set up and run a product demo or trial if you request one
- Keep a record of correspondence for support purposes
We do not use form submissions for advertising and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
Who we share it with
We use third-party service providers to run this website and deliver email. These providers process data on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes below:
- SMTP2GO: delivers outbound email from demo request and contact forms
- Vercel: hosts this website
How long we keep it
We keep demo request and contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and delete them when no longer needed. If you become a customer, data relating to your account is governed by your master subscription agreement, not this website policy.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / the EU GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@assetpilot.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
Cookies
This site uses a minimal set of cookies, described in full in our Cookie Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.
